家园 【原创】欧盟一体在新加坡的宣传 小弟在南洋这里的一个学校读博。
今天收到学校的一封信，信的大意是（新加坡的）欧盟中心准备搞一个每周欧盟新闻分析。欢迎大家去参加。貌似最近欧盟整合粒度很大，特别在金融危机的契机下。前一阵选了一个欧盟第一任总统。现在在南亚这里都开始宣传欧盟一体的东西。这个欧盟中心建立和从大学起步，就是要从舆论上让别人把欧盟当做一个经济体和政治体。看来金融危机既是危机，又是机遇啊。
以下是原信的一部分内容：
The EU Centre is pleased to announce the launch of our EU weekly news analysis. It will provide a short write-up of the most relevant news and current affairs developments relevant to the following topics:
· Trade & Investment Partnerships and Regulations;
· External Relations of the EU;
· Environment, Climate Change & Energy Security;
· The EU’s Institutions.
In each of these sections, the selection of the issues to be covered will be based on their relevance to Singapore and Southeast Asia.

We work with different partners to raise the awareness of the EU, its relationship with Asia and its global role through various events, research and policy briefs. The activities of the EU Centre are funded by the European Commission and the two hosting universities– NUS and NTU.

从网页上看，像是研究中心。
好像哈佛有个东亚研究中心，我们学校有个东南亚研究中心。 至于这个研究中心funding怎么来，我可能觉得还是偏向于新方设立的研究机构。
谢谢提醒。看来这个和我们国家的孔子学院还不一样。
我现在在新加坡的地铁站有时也会看到NTU孔子学院的广告。
