这个词在韦氏词典里的解释是其发音来自广东话的烟，指鸦片。yen在英文里的意思是强烈的愿望。我到觉得中文的“愿”本来就与yen很近。
这个词在英文里用的人不多，有时会在一些文章里见到。
最近重读这本书，主要用来催眠，没想到看到“上海”一词！谨记于此。
