A turtle specie Lepidochelys (olivacea) flips sand while digging her nest to lay eggs, along the shore at Ostional Beach in Santa Cruz, 350 miles the north of the capital San Jose, late November 3, 2003. More than 100 million eggs are layed by the turtles during a five-day period. Residents of this small town on the pacific coast collect up a small percentage of the eggs to sell at markets throughout Costa Rica.
