Job Description:

Responsibilities

Leadership:

* Responsible for the productivity of others;

* Build, lead and grow technology project teams from concept to launch;

* Work with US/Europe global Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing leaders to formalize the product requirements and build product development strategy in China;

* Proven experience in building a high-performance culture that delivers predictable, well-defined products that are on-spec, on-time, and on-budget;

* Adjusts the department workload and scheduling to ensure commitments are attainable and develops operating rhythms and rigor to insure timely and proactive communications;

* Coaches and/or mentors design teams and individuals to ensure they are successful;

* Provides leadership to develop people and implement new products, strategy, processes and engineering initiatives that support the company's growth objectives; Process and Project management:

* Responsible for project performance, process development, schedule and budget;

* Effectively engages and proactively reports on project status and plans both internally and cross-functionally;

* Supervises and provides non-compromising execution of the development of product specifications, project plans, processes, budgets and schedules for assigned projects to insure on-time, on-spec, and on-budget delivery;

Technical:

* Ability to coach and mentor engineers and direct level supervisors/managers;

* Supervise all aspects of the design for products.- in latest technologies- VC++, Java, Video Electronics and /Hardware/Firmware;

* Foster the identification of new technology that can be applied to our industry.

Qualifications

* BS /MS/PhD in Electrical/Electronics / Computer

Engineering with 8- 15 years experience leading

product development with a history of stability and

increasing levels of responsibility;

* Demonstrated skills for in building teams in

embedded system, Electronics design and development

under RTOS such as Nucleus, QNX, Embedded Linux or

VxWorks;

* Experience with managing multiple projects,

developing and monitoring project timelines and

project budgets for on-time, on-spec and on-budget

delivery;

* Excellent communications skills in English reading,

speaking and writing;

* Proven ability working in a cross-functional team

environment with optimal time-to-market;

* Must possess excellent engineering, leadership and

communication skills;

* Must possess a proven track record of superlative

project management and proactive NPI (New Product

Introduction)

process proficiency in a development environment;

* Solid experience in the development of processes,

practices, and programs that ensure predictable

results,

non-yielding quality, and smooth department operation

including proactive implementation of design

processes,

configuration controls, design quality metrics, value

engineering and project risk management;

* Experience with video systems, and IP network

solutions, video/image processing, Knowledge in the

camera and

digital video applications, CMM& 6 Sigma experience is

plus;

* Formidable experience in the following

software/Hardware /Embedded technologies a major plus:

COM/DCOM/ActiveX/XML/.NET;

Visual Basic/Visual C++; Network solutions including

TCP/IP, UDP; Media players; Database servers including

SQL., Linux, MPC

processors- 16/32 bit processors, RTOS, HW design,

Embedded firmware development.
