关于第二个问题，据我所知，目前中方没有扣押任何印方人员。

Who can hold back temperaments in China and India in such situation?

China, apparently as a policy does not publicise it’s casualties or that of the other side!

In the present case it has stated that the figures are withheld to prevent comparisons and fueling of tempers.

Should we not have done the same?

It’s a matter of wisdom!

Let’s hope there will be wisdom on all concerned, peace will return and China and India can sit across the table and try solving the boundary issues permanently.

It is now proven that despite all agreements it is not possible to maintain peace and tranquility on the boundary unless both countries negotiate a permanent settlement of their never before settled boundaries, conduct joint survey, prepare precise maps, erect boundary pillars and live ever after happily in their own side of the boundary.

China has done it living happily with 12 out of 14 land boundary countries it has!
