而且它提出的研究方法很新，普通读者和经济学家其实是处在差不多的位置上。不过这篇文章的研究方法是如此之新，10年之后也没有什么影响力。我上contract theory课的时候，没听到过提起这篇文章。
经验研究的一些文章还是比较容易看懂的。尤其是最近的Randomized Experiment那一派。我查了一下最近Quarterly Journal of Economics的文章，如果懂一些统计学的话，这几篇应该都是比较好懂的。

偶尔的，顶尖杂志还会发表一点数学都没有的文章，比如Peter Leeson研究海盗的文章发在Journal of Political Economy.
An-arrgh-chy: The Law and Economics of Pirate Organization
读懂这篇文章连统计学的知识也不需要。
