“On October 19, 1950,

Chinese People's Volunteer Army crossed the Yalu River.

The War to Resist America and Aid Korea began.

Before that day, China is the gift for good player;

since that day, China is the good player."

美国的大部分人看到这个感觉会很差。这个是有点帝国主义味道的言论。而且有点暴发户的感觉。即使是作为中国人的朋友，看到也会很反感。

其实作为曾经敌对的双方，表面上都装着忘掉过去才是最好的。我不会刻意和美国友人提这些问题。因为，任何一个国家爱国主义都是主流。

如果非要写，改成这样比较好。

Chinese People's Volunteer Army crossed the Yalu River to protect China and her neighbor.

Korean war is a tragedy for both the U.S. and China.

The soldiers of both sides were brave and devoted to their countries.

Let's memorize the death in the Korean War and never forget the lesson: Peace and negotiation are always needed between China and the U.S.
